About KIDEXPO

This unusual event is aimed at children aged 4 to 14 and their parents.
Organized around three themes: « Education, practical life », « Sports, Leisure, Holidays» and « Games, Creative leisure activities », this family event, invites the public to discover some fifty workshops and educational activities for children. The event also features a wide range of special events, talks, round table sessions and meetings with professionals.

Fair present Europe’s most visited exhibition (8 million visitors / year) the Parc des Expositions, which now organizes KIDEXPO International, a world leader in the sector, and the biggest family event of the year in France with 120,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors.

A seed of creativity in a spirale full of dynamism that creates a beneficial energy for the body and mind in order to achieve well-being

Fittja, a town south of Stockholm, Sweden, was built in the 1970s. It has about 7500 inhabitants.

Performance in a growing city, as a seed of creativity (as opposed to destruction and deterioration) of organic forms from nature and the world of aesthetic perspectives fed psychological and historical color and shape, Designs in architecture completting the ideal functional fashion from the 70. To foster a sense of well-being, friendliness and harmony.

A bustling thoroughfare in the architecture. The transformation began to take shape by becoming a hub of activity to meet, play and rest. An interaction between sound structure and soft expression, between private space and public space, between city and nature, energy, children's games and fun for adults.

That's what that ARTOTEC following an order passed by the real estate company Botkyrkabyggen AB was invited to perform. An oasis in the architecture and functional heavy in the city.

Our intervention, physical and artistic, is seen as magical by users of our facilities. ART is magic!

We participate in the enormous investment effort made by Fittja since its creation! An initiative that provides significant improvements in the external environment. The whole project is the result of a collaboration between tenants, the company Botkyrkabyggen AB, architect Chet Kanra in collaboration with landscape architect Koinberg Sture, the artist Frédéric Iriarte supported by the expertise of external Henry Cardona A3D-Projection sustainable architecture and ARTOTEC AB.

A variety of expressions, characters and identities that give the project a rewarding experience for all parties.

ARTOTEC has created a collection of alternative and original equipment which is robust and innovative for Playgrounds / Recreational Sculptures / Playful furniture for children and adults in outdoor environments.

ARTOTEC is a French / Swedish company that designs, manufactures and sells innovative equipment for playgrounds / play sculptures and furniture for both children and adults.

☼ All play equipment and furniture from ARTOTEC conforms to the latest standards and European safety norms EN 1176:2008 and have been a driving force for the renewal of the standard.

☼ All ARTOTEC play equipment has been developed according to accessibility guidelines for buildings and facilities: U.S. Access Board (2005) ADAAG Play (2000), Prellwitz & Skar (2007), Iwarsson & Stahl (2003) standards international ISO 9241 for accessibility - and Universal Design.

☼ Manufacturing according to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 standards.

☼ We are also happy to announce that our Swedish manufacturers and suppliers can compete with the costs of production vis-à-vis producers outside Europe.

☼ How do I install the products? Easy! Only 1, 2 or 3 foundations are required for each piece of equipment or furniture. Instructions for assembly and maintenance will be attached to the order.

☼ Can I get the drawings in DWG format? Download them from the internet.

☼ What is the safety distance required? In accordance with European safety norms EN 1176:2008, there must be a minimumof 1.5 safety zone around each piece of equipment in the playground area.

☼ 6-12 weeks’ delivery time depending on the quantity and colour choices in the same order. Delivery ex works.

☼ 10 years warranty for metallic parts in accordance with ARTOTEC’s policy. Material and finish recommendations and maintenance instructions will be supplied with the order.

ARTOTEC /Forskning har träffat Erik de Groat (Enhetschef och forskningssamordnare vid konstfack) ARTOTEC /forskning har därmed initierat ett forskningsprojekt och påbörjat att formulera en gemensamt avsikförklaring som ska lämnas till Kulturrådet under våren. Tanken är att Konstfack ska vara huvudman till forskningsförstudier och verka som stöd med ytterligare spetskompetens inom den teknisk-estetiska sfären. Man ska bidra med diverse konkreta aspekter ur ett samhälleligt och tekniskt perspektiv, med antropometriska kunskaper, ergonomiska, kognitiva och fysiska analyser, samhällsplanering, framtida visioner, aktuella och framtida säkerhetsnormer och standarder, trygghetsfrågor, pedagogik och didatisk planering, hållbarhetsutveckling och miljötänkande, samt mångfaldsmöligheter. Inom kort kommer ARTOTEC /forskning att publicera resultat av forskningsarbetet på webbplatsen.
